Higher Education Institutions
Three higher education institutions form the AETC Consortium: Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), Universidade do Algarve (UAlg), and Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril (ESHTE).
All of these institutions hold an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (CEES/ECHE) and are responsible for academically certifying the real work experience of the student or recent graduate abroad.
The coordinating institution of the AETC Consortium is Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The coordinating institution is responsible for the administrative and financial management of the project, both towards the Erasmus+ National Agency and all consortium partners. It is also responsible for managing Erasmus grants and preparing reports on the corresponding funding.
The Erasmus Consortium Coordinator plays, in summary, an active role in managing the project in terms of:
- Administrative and financial management,
- Qualitative and quantitative management;
- Cross-sectional management and best practices.
